Teachers affect eternity. He can never tell where his influence stops. They are the noblest guides of any education system. They not only transmit knowledge but also inculcate values and worthiness. Any education system accepts the teachers as the pillars of the structures. Quality of a teacher is very crucial to promote experience-based learning for multifaceted development. It has been globally admitted that a teacher can help to foster innovative way of shaping and reshaping society by educating and training a new generation of young minds and promote the quality of life in a community as well as the nation. As soon as the nation was independent, education got the topmost priority in planning and shaping the nation. Education in India is provided by the public sector as well as the private sector, with control and funding coming from three levels Central, State, and Local. AICTE, NCTE, CBSE, NCERT, ICSE and so on have been formed to make a wonderful achievement in the field of education, but it is only high quality teacher who can enlighten, emancipate and empower our nation and our society towards progress.

Bishnupriya  College of Education (a composite institution of B.Ed. & D.El.Ed.), is such an institute where the dreaming teachers can reach their  destination  to make themselves as Instructor, Moulder and Guide of countless students through the different stages of growth – because a teacher carries a big responsibility on shoulders – the job of shaping the thoughts of the minds of the future.

Indeed, in a knowledge – driven society where information having increasingly short self life, it is important for teachers to focus on the longer term goal of preparing our students for life, equipping them with more than a finite and rapidly obsolescent body of knowledge, and developing their faculties for understanding, applying and creating knowledge, as well as their ability to constantly refresh and upgrade their knowledge.
